Our business was founded on a deep understanding of the challenges faced by suppliers in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector. We started as a supplier ourselves and quickly realized a significant gap in the market—suppliers lacked clear insights on where to focus for maximum results. Drawing from our extensive experience in the industry, we recognized the common hurdles—such as fluctuating demand, inventory management issues, and market competition—that often impede growth and lead to failure.
With this insight, and by listening to other suppliers, we developed a comprehensive system specifically designed to empower suppliers, streamline their operations, and enhance their market presence. Our solutions are tailored to address the unique needs of FMCG suppliers, ensuring they not only survive but thrive in a highly competitive environment.

In 1993, we came into being through Franita Bosman and her supportive husband, Philip. With expertise in identifying and establishing national product listings, Franita secured house brand/private label business for local manufacturers—quickly leading to success and national awards.
We expanded into consulting, helping businesses in “Getting, Keeping, and Growing the business Profitably.” By developing systems and structures for sustainable growth, we gained exposure in formal and retail environments, offering improved insights and strategic decision-making support. This shaped our core focus areas—Key Account Management, Demand & Supply Planning, and In-store Stock Management.
As data access widened, we became the only outsourced Demand & Supply service provider to a major SA retailer, backed by a leading perishable supplier. We received SAP accreditation and extended our services to provide trusted, retailer-aligned insights. Our Key Account Management expertise led to the development of our own in-house reporting system, tailored for the South African retail sector. This empowered KAMs with real-time stock health insights, proactive issue detection, and root cause analysis.
Our Demand & Supply Planning services expanded to global retailers, achieving best-in-class stock availability year after year. With our relentless focus on optimizing stock availability and maximizing sales opportunities, the development of KwikView® began.
We evolved into the BD-Nav we are today, securing Patent & Copyright status for our in-house system. This led to the creation of the D-Nav® toolkit, a game-changer in retail data navigation. By partnering with major retailers, we enabled vendors to measure, track, and enhance their performance with data-driven precision.
During the uncertainties of Covid, we remained fully operational, providing vendor customers with the critical data insights needed to maintain top-tier on-shelf stock availability. Despite abrupt demand shifts, we helped suppliers maintain excellent service levels and meet evolving consumer needs.
Momentum continued to build for our toolkit, as more supplier KAMs leveraged our insights to manage accounts efficiently, align with commercial agreements, hit targets, and drive sustained growth.
For the second consecutive year, a D-Nav-supported vendor customer won Supplier of the Year at South Africa’s leading food retailer—reinforcing the power of our data-driven approach in achieving retail excellence.
